Large Pearl & Gold Tone Vintage Clip Earrings

Description

Attractive large faux pearl vintage CLIP earrings featuring one large faux pearl with a crazed/crackle effect finish set in a decorative gold tone surround. Gold tone backs and off white faux pearl, very eye-catching.

Size

Approximate sizes are: .150" (3cm) length, 1" (2.5cm) wide.

Colour.

Off White and gold tone.

Material

Gold tone metal of unknown composition and faux pearls of unknown composition but heavy in weight therefore likely to be glass or stone composition.

Age

C1960.

Condition

Good - a few scratches to the faux pearls and some minor wear to the gold tone backs. It is possible that the finish referred to above is the result of wear over time to the surface finish of the faux pearl although the very uneven, natural feel of the faux pearl material would suggest that they were made this way. In any event they are very attractive as they are now.
